 Protein Ragi Ladoo (Indian Sweets)

 

 Protein Ragi Ladoo is a nutritious and flavorful snack crafted from ragi flour (finger millet flour), assorted nuts, and seeds. This popular Indian confection is traditionally prepared during celebratory events and is also favored as a post-exercise treat owing to its high protein and fiber composition.

These wholesome protein ragi ladoos are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, iron, vitamins, and insoluble fiber. The amalgamation of nuts, seeds, and ragi results in a subtly sweet, healthful offering suitable for daily consumption. These energy-packed treats can be securely stored for up to one month in a stainless steel airtight container.

Recipe

Ingredients :

Ragi flour 1 cup
 
Sunflower seeds 1cup
 
Pumpkin seeds 1 cup
 
Flaxseeds 1 cup
 
Almonds 1 cup
 
Walnut 1 cup
 
Dates 1 and half cup
 
Ghee 4 big table spoon
 
Jaggery half cup. If you want more sweet you can add accordingly.

Method

Dry roast all the nuts separately on a medium flame for about 4 to 6 mins till they become crunchy.
Dry roast ragi flour for 3 mins and set it aside.
Dry roast dates. It will melt. Keep it aside.

Now grind the above nuts and dates into a fine powder.

Heat ghee in a pan add the jaggery pdr and switch off the stove.
Mix ghee n jaggery well and now add the above-grounded nuts pdr, ragi, and dates mix well and roll it.
Store it steel airtight container. Don`t store it in a plastic box.
Shelf life 1 month.

Note: 1 laddoo a day is recommended. It´s not a dessert😊.
